Keep your vision board alive

Your Mac is where the planning happens, and Vision Boardly keeps that plan in motion. The app holds every board you build, breaks each vision into goals and tasks, tracks habits and progress through the week, and sends reminders as each date approaches, on your computer, phone or tablet.

It suits anyone who plans at a desk: freelancers, students writing on a MacBook, designers and anyone whose photos sync to their Mac. A full keyboard makes captions quick to write, and the large display shows your whole vision board clearly while you arrange it.

Open this page in Safari, Chrome or Firefox on your Mac. Click any square to open the file picker, choose an image from Finder or your Photos library, then type a date and a caption below it. Repeat across the nine squares and click Save as Image when your vision board feels right.

Yes. When the file picker opens, look for Photos in the sidebar under Media, and your library appears ready to browse. You can also pick images from the Desktop, Documents or iCloud Drive. Each picture fills its square on the vision board straight away.

Save as Image stores the finished vision board on your Mac as one picture, in the folder your browser uses for saved files. From there, drag it to the Desktop, add it to Photos or attach it to an email. Save before you close the page, so the board stays yours.

Open System Settings, choose Wallpaper, then add the saved vision board image as a photo. You can also right click the image in Finder and choose Set Desktop Picture from the Services menu. Your goals then sit behind every window you open through the working day.

Yes. Click Print and the Mac print window opens with your vision board ready. Choose a printer for a paper copy, or open the PDF menu in the corner and choose Save as PDF to keep a file. Both options suit a board you want to pin up or archive.

Any Mac with a modern browser works, from a compact MacBook Air to a large iMac or an external display. The vision board grid adjusts to the window, so you can build in a smaller window beside your notes or fill the whole screen for a closer look at each image.
