A vision board word of the year is one word that sums up how you want the next twelve months to feel, such as steady, brave, open or bloom. Choose it by reflecting on the past year and what you need next, put it at the top of your board, let it guide decisions and review it in December.
Power words for vision boards are short action words that nudge you forward. Use start words like begin and dare for new goals, persistence words like commit and keep for the long middle, finish words like complete and deliver near the end, and growth words like rise and expand. Place one beside each goal it should push.
To host a vision board party, invite four to ten people two weeks ahead, ask them to bring photos, prepare boards and themed baskets of images, welcome everyone with food, lead a short reflection, give an hour for making, hold an optional sharing circle and follow up with a check-in a month later.
